Job Description
The Bornova Municipality Survey and Project Directorate, within the boundaries of Bornova Municipality and in accordance with all relevant laws and regulations, utilizes advanced technologies and digital/topographic and linear maps to produce parcel plans for plots and public areas to be built upon. These plans are developed through zoning practices, ensuring the elevation and location conformity of newly constructed buildings with their approved projects. The Directorate contributes to the preparation process of 5-year zoning programs and approves road profiles prepared by relevant parties. It also verifies the location and area of occupation based on penalty reports issued by the Revenue and Municipal Police Departments, determines the block and parcel numbers and calculates their surface areas. The Directorate is responsible for reviewing and approving the site implementation and elevation drawings (T.U.S. files) prepared by project authors for building permits, conducting the application of buildings that have obtained construction permits based on approved plans, performing base and sub-basement inspections, and assigning numbers to squares, boulevards, avenues, streets, and buildings. These tasks and responsibilities define the scope of the Directorate’s duties.

To prepare the Implementation-Based Zoning Line Sketch.
To carry out the necessary procedures for determining the regulation boundary.
To prepare the Address Certificate and its Copy.

To update the National Address Database (UAVT).
To revise address and numbering information.
To determine road width.
To ensure the control of Base and Sub-Basement Sketches.
To check and approve the Site Implementation and Elevation Sketch (T.U.S.).
To make changes to the Site Implementation and Elevation Sketch (T.U.S.).
To ensure the approval of the Building Application Project for Establishing Condominium Ownership.
To prepare expropriation maps.
To conduct land measurements and assessments.
To mark the parcel on the current map.
To implement the decisions taken by the Personal Data Protection Committee concerning the operations of the Directorate.
To submit application forms and petitions prepared by the Directorate or requested from individuals for preliminary review and approval by the Personal Data Protection Committee under the Personal Data Protection Law.
To monitor and implement actions and activities carried out within the internal control system.
To manage, assign, and supervise incoming and outgoing documents through the Electronic Document Management System, implemented by our Municipality on 01.07.2013.
